The Fire company has been working on a project for the last five years to complement our equipment with a 105’ Seagrave Arial Platform truck. The truck is expected to be delivered in the Fall of 2008. Look for  our celebration to follow.

             The Pocono Township Volunteer Fire Co. is a registered user of the Knox Box System. The system allows the fire company quick access to a property  in the event of an emergency. The system works by locking away property pass keys in a vault at the property location. Only the fire company can access this box in an emergency. The fire co. master key is also locked away in a vault which can only be opened by dispatching authorities. The system is designed to minimize damage caused by forcible entry and allows a property to be re-secured after an event.
